Thank you all my wonderful friends for your words of encouragement! I felt so lifted and loved! Here is the conversation with Kirk....
"Kirk I did something bad"
"What did you buy?" (I found this very funny that this was his first response!)
"Nothing....I got a ticket for speeding" (tears are turning on, thanks Debbie)
"You're such a bad girl now." (heavy sarcasm here)
That was it. I think he was happy in a way because now I have no bragging rights anymore. I have joined the ranks of the people with speeding tickets. It still sucks, but I think letting Kirk enjoy his favorite dinner (chicken pot pie and homemade chocolate cake) before telling him helped a little :)
And the problem with Dallin, well, we are working on it and hopefully he can start using his words instead of his fists..or feet..or teeth. He really is a sweet boy, he just has three older brothers and let me tell you he can hold his own with any of them in a wrestling match.
I had a wonderful two hours of practice for the Hymns of Thanksgiving choir and it really lifted my mood to sing the wonderful songs. We perform at the Qwest Arena on Sunday the 23rd at 7:30 (it is free) and it is also being broadcast on channel 4 (PBS) Thanksgiving evening (not sure of the time) It will be well worth your time to come see it or watch it. 250 voice choir and 70 person orchestra. It will be amazing!

See I told ya...I'm a pro after 3 times :) I was devastated at my first speeding ticket too. Just keep reminding yourself after 3 years it won't be on your record anyway...all is forgiven in due time. I'll definitely check out PBS for the concert. We'll be on the Idaho side(Clifton) so hopefully we'll be able to get it.
I forgot to say in my comment on yesterday's post that Garrett was a biter too. He's fine now. It's just a stage he'll outgrow. He's not going to still be biting people in high school. Well, hopefully. :)
Ohhh I'm glad that things went well. Choir practice sounds like the perfect way to end the day.
I'm glad things went well with the ticket and Kirk. I was still devestated after my third ticket, and I don't think I'll ever overcome that aspect. I'm really careful now and my heart stops everytime I see a cop. I'm sure Dallin will grow up just fine. James has some tendencies that I'd rather he didn't too. Partly being the third boy, partly being James. We all have those idiosycracies and have to learn to handle them. I thought about trying for that choir this year, but decided against it. Maybe next year. I'll definitely look into going or seeing it on tv. Actually, I'd better go. We'll be in Salt Lake when it's on tv.
