Random bloggy thoughts.

I know I should be more productive today, but I keep finding my mind wandering off...so I guess I will just have to blog about it! First I have been really studying some other sites about saving money, and this past week was my chance! I have a great supply of coupons and Here is what I got:

I will spare you the entire list of items, but there is about $111.00 worth of products here, and I spent a whole 36.00! I took advantage of the Albertsons deal where you buy 30.00 of certain items and get 15.00 back for you next trip. This was three trips and everything I bought had a coupon. I got the laundry soap for 67 cents and the soup was free, most items were under a dollar. Anyway, I'm new to this, but it has really helped and I have two more trips planned tomorrow, over 60.00 of groceries for about 15.00. YEAH!

Tayla looked so cute today, and I made this bow last minute with a flower from my scrap booking stash. She kept it on most of the time too! I used the brad to attach it to a plain white headband I had on hand. The dress is a sleeveless summer dress, but I bought this sweater last spring and it works on almost all of her sleeveless dresses so she can wear them when it's cold too.

I taught the 5 year old class today and told Kirk to never ever put me in that calling. It was insane, and I don't know if they learned a thing about forgiveness or not, but they loved cutting and coloring for about 35 minutes!

Tonight is the first choir practice with the orchestra and I am so excited to sing with them!

I found these little cones at the store, and the boys LOVE them! And the best part is they can have four cones of ice-cream and think they are getting a lot, when it really is just a little bit compared to a full sized cone. Here's Tayla eating two cones.

She's a little messy. Well, a lot messy lately! She won't let me feed her, but hasn't mastered the spoon yet, so she eats with her hands shoving in the food. This is a funny picture of her after eating and then grabbing her hair (she likes to play with her hair when she is tired)

My boys have been playing basketball every day lately, I don't know why it's all of a sudden caught on, but we bought three more balls yesterday so they all can play. Kolby came in and wanted to show me this...both balls were stuck! It was funny.

And last but not least this is what I made for the teacher appreciation dinner at the boys' school. I was very excited to find starfruit in season! I hope they liked it!Well, I guess that's about all! Happy Sunday. Beth

You are an amazing mother!! Wow, look at that fruity yummy looking cake! mmmmmm.... Okay so I LOVE the bow! You are so thrifty and so creative!! My role model when it comes to good deals! I still remember an enrichment or something where you talked about food storage/good deals or something like that, so I always try to buy deals and buy a lot to stock up in storage!! Your advice has helped me a lot the past year or so :) Thanks girl!

Your cheesecake looks beautiful...I really need to get some of your cheesecake recipes so I can facilitate my addiction. Great job on the coupon thing. I've been finding myself trying to save a buck here and there. Did you know that Walmart price matches? You just need to bring in the ads from the other stores and they'll match the prices on the sales.
