I had a great experience last night at our concert! My voice felt good and somehow I managed to remember all the things we were directed to do during each song. It went so quickly and for a moment I felt like a real choral singer with all the microphones and video cameras floating around. I will plan on doing this every year because it was so worth it. I made new friends and learned so much about singing at all the practices. If you are in Idaho on Thanksgiving watch the concert on PBS at 7:00. It was two hours, but it went quickly and will be worth your time to watch it! You may even be able to pick me out of the 250 singers...it will be like a where's waldo book or something! My favorite numbers (we sang 13) were: "O Come Ye Nations of the Earth" and "O Light of Life" I also really enjoyed singing our closing number "God of Our Fathers" We rocked! I couldn't have done it without Kirk who watched the kids and put them to bed two nights a week since September and last night while I was gone for 5 hours, so thank you!
