This was such a great weekend for our family. Logan was baptized on Saturday and we had so many family and friends there to support us! Even Kirk's parents from Michigan came and his grandparents in Buhl, his sister and 2 brothers from Salt Lake and of course my parents, sister, uncle, aunt and lots of our ward family came too. He was confirmed after that and then we had everyone over for dinner at our house. It was one of those "firsts" as a family and it was a very special time for all of us. Logan is one amazing boy and he just shined the whole time. I am so thankful for my family and for the foundation they have given me in the gospel. It is so neat to see that legacy passed on to my children and have a small inkling of what Heavenly Father may feel when his children choose the right paths. It makes me very happy when I have the boys reminding us to read the scriptures or have family home evening. They are so pure and just seem to know what is right and good. They are being examples at school and the teachers always commend thier honesty and work ethic. I know they aren't perfect and they will make many mistakes in life, but I hope they always come "home" and realize the precious gift they have in the gospel and in the atonement. It isn't easy but on Saturday it sure was worth it for me!

Differences in beliefs aside...
It must've been a great day for you, truly a proud mommy moment. And to have your whole family there - well, that just makes it even better. I'm happy for you!
