What was I thinking?

Have you ever had a day that is full allready, yet you keep having ideas about what else you can do so it gets even fuller? That's how yesterday was! After dropping off the boys at school at 8:15 we went to Walmart (big mistake again!) and picked up some gifts for someone who had a new baby in our ward. This turned into a small grocery trip without my list (mistake again) and we wandered the isles trying to remember what I needed. And I thought I could make dinner for the family with the new baby as well, so more wandering. Anyway, we didn't get out of there until 9:45 and I was going to go scrapbook at my friends at 10:00. I decieded to cancel that and focus on wrapping the gifts for the family. I got something for the dad, big brother, baby and mom but her gift didn't seem like enough. I love the soaps at Bath and Body Works because they smell great and keep my hands soft and since you wash your hands ALOT after a new baby I thought she'd like some of these. So off to the mall (something I usually don't attempt with the boys, but I REALLY wanted these soaps!) The boys were good and the soap was on sale 4 for 10.00! So I had to get some for me too! They also have antibacterial hand sanitizer so I got some of that too for her diaper bag. So the gifts are done but Preston remembered I told him we would plant flowers. So off to Fred Meyer and we loaded up the cart with 36 flowers and headed home. Dallin took a nap and we planted. I was getting hot but it was pretty fun to see all the planters on my deck. Now time to start dinner-homemade chicken pot pie with homemade crust. One for us and one for them. I finished around 5:00 and we delivered the gifts and dinner (it was a surprise and she really liked it). By now Kirk is home and Logan is home from scouts and Kolby is home from his friends and we eat dinner, have baths and crash in bed. It was a crazy day and my body wasn't too happy with me! I need to limit my activities, even though in my head it seems like I can do it, I just need to take it easy!
