Happy day!

What a beautiful and fun weekend I have had! I won’t go into great detail, but will try to sum it up. It all began on Friday about 11:00am when Kirk pulled out of the driveway with all four boys for a Father and Sons campout. It sure felt weird and quiet to have them gone, but I was able to get a lot accomplished. I cleaned the house up and down and also their room which was very messy. I took a nap-woo hoo! I went shopping with a friend and found some way cute baby girl clothes. I ate ice-cream and watched some TV, and I sorted the baby clothes I have and made a list so I can figure out what I need and what sizes. Unfortunately most of the clothes I have will be off season because when we thought Logan was a girl he was born in April. So I have plenty of summer and spring clothes in 0-6 months and hardly any winter clothes. Oh well, I guess I will just have to shop some more! Saturday I slept in the best I could, but It just felt too weird so I was up by 8:00. I made dinner plans for Sunday and baked some bread. I also watched my friends little girl while she attended her hubbys graduation. The boys were home around 1:30 and were so so so dirty! So the work began of cleaning out the van and getting the boys showers. I went shopping that afternoon and found some of the cutest maternity clothes! My clothes are so worn out and out of “style” and I just wanted a few things to wear to church. This is the first time in my life that EVERYTHING I tried on fit and looked cute! It must be the big belly or something. I had to decide what to put back. It was a huge pick me up and I had a fun shopping trip. I also couldn’t help picking up a dress for Tayla at Pennys too. Sunday was just a really fun day with the boys trying so hard to be good and making me surprise cards and leaving notes around the house. Logan sang a duet in Sacrament meeting and he was just an angel. I told him it was the best present ever! Dinner was yummy and we shared it with our friends who are moving on Wednesday. (the same one who graduated) We will really miss them and hope they stay close while they are in Salt Lake. It was a nice afternoon and the weather was so nice too! I am counting down for the summer-Logan and Kolby only have 7 ½ days left of school and Preston has only 4!!! My last helper day will be Wednesday and it is also his 5th birthday so it will be fun. We are going on a field trip to the animal hospital so wish me luck! This week I have my last pre-school meeting, Prestons birthday and a bishopric dinner on Friday night. The boys also don’t have school on Friday so I am hoping to plan a fun day at the park and walking along the greenbelt by the river-they LOVE this! We are also going to start a new adventure looking for letterboxes around the area. (for more info see this site: www.letterboxing.org
Have a happy day everyone!
