Summer is winding down...

It happens every time I turn the page on the calendar and there it is.  The first day of school.  And then we start to panic and we want to cram in as much as we possibly can before it really comes!!  I have to say this has been a busy summer and an even busier year.  I've neglected this blog terribly!!  I had ONE post last month and only four in June.  I'm way off this year with posting too, my goal is one post a week.  Anyway, sooooo much has been going on.  Some way cool things, some awful and painful things, some milestones with the kids and just basic summer fun things.  I want to catch up.  I want to remember and I want the memories to make it into my blog book at the end of the year, so I am going to try and post more often and share a lot more than just one time this month!!

For this post I had to share about my sweet Tayla.  She is growing by leaps and bounds this summer!!!  I had to start shopping in the "big girl" section at the store.  She is a size 7!!!  When did that even happen?!?  I don't know, but it was about time to get rid of those size 4 and 5 shirts that were in her drawers!  She lost her first tooth on July 15th.  She was so excited!

She also decided she had enough of her training wheels and is now riding her bike like crazy.  In July I was so blessed when a friend of mine just gave me her bike because she was getting a new one from work.  I couldn't believe it!  I've wanted a bike for a while now, but just haven't had the money to get one.  Now we ride every morning through the park and cemetery.  It's been so much fun to ride around with my kids.  I can't take long rides yet, but soon I will be strong enough to!
