Fireworks and Cakepops

Last week was a bit crazy.  Cake pop mania erupted in my house.  Cake pops for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Well, not really, but let's just say I didn't make many meals before Thursday.  I did accomplish a lot!!  With two separate orders I managed to make over 200 cake pops!!  For the wedding I decorated them in my "fancy" way.  It takes FOREVER!!!  Her colors were granny smith green and navy blue, but navy blue chocolate is soooo hard to come by and it's not cheep, so I just tried to mix it up a bit.  For the other order it was a 4th of July party, so I tried to do a "firework" decoration.  They turned out really cute!

Can I just brag a minute about these firework cake pops?  I shared them with KC Bakes on Facebook (the company I bought the cool stands from) and she featured them on her page (which has over 14,000 likes!)  She said they were her favorite fourth of July cake pops!!  I was really proud :)

And then because I'm a bit crazy and think I can bring treats to everything I made these mini cupcakes for the cub scout snacks.  They were really good!!  

So, after a long long week I finished the cake pops on the 4th at like 7:00.  I put the boys in charge of cooking the hamburgers and we had a feast with watermelon, chips, pop etc.  We went to the park for fireworks and this is my only picture of the night.  The End.  Beth
