We believe in fairies!

A few weeks ago I was having a really hard afternoon with Dallin. (I stopped letting him take naps because he won't go to bed until after 10 when he does, but he is a little cranky in the afternoons.) So I took him outside and we made a fairy house. I saw it in Family Fun recently and it looked so fun! It was! We made a little bed with some wood and leaves and a table with rocks and spent the afternoon looking for things to put in the house. When the other boys came home from school they thought it was a fun thing to do and found a little place to build a fairy house of thier own. Kolby has a little play stove, a sink made from a rock, a nice bed with lots of leaves and play food. Logan sprinkled his with tulip petals I had on hand and Preston put this little clock in his that he found at a yard sale. Every few days they are outside adding things and making "improvements" to thier fairy houses. To our surprise the "fairies" started leaving gifts because they love the houses so much! Today they got a little pack of tic tacs, and last week a nerds licorice rope was left. It is so cute to watch the boys create these houses. Here are some pictures....hard to see all the details, but they are really cute! Beth

Beth you are such a great mom. These are so cute. I love seeing kids using their imagination.

Oh.. and I abstain from voting in your poll. :)

I didn't even see the little poll over there! Good thing she mentioned it!

I saw that in the magazine too. I love that magazine. I should do that with the kids this week while they're home. Or maybe do it just with Carson next week. Fun idea!
