We had cute shoes up front and the colors were pink, black and white. I was in charge of the desserts (big surprise right!) Here's some fun pictures from the night:
A wonderful sister in the ward sewed these temple bags for each girl. They were so excited about them!!
We gave the new beehives these cute flip flops tied with value colored ribbons.
I haven't had much time this week, so decided to go simple and do a cheesecake bar. I made 3 plain new york cheesecakes and put out lots of fun toppings! There was chocolate, cherry, lemon and strawberry toppings as well as coconut, pecans, mini chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. It was a huge hit!
At the end of the program we sang a Jenny Philips song "Stand in Holy Places" It was so awesome. I just love it when the girls learn songs. They won't forget them.
I don't know if I will be in young womens much longer (I've been in there 4 1/2 years straight!), but I have really enjoyed doing nights like these. I just love these girls and want them to feel special!! Beth

What a cute idea!!! I think you have more young women in your ward than we do! I'm glad to see it growing in your area.
