That's a big tooth..

Poor Dallin.  He had a bad toothache last week on Wednesday so I got him in to the dentist on Thursday.  His second molar on the upper left was badly infected.  We went home with pain meds and what we lovingly call "pink stuff" (if you are a mom, you know what this is!)  Then yesterday afternoon I took him in to have it pulled out.  There's really no reason to save this baby tooth with a root canal (which would probably take surgery) so the next best is to take it out and put in a spacer.  It was hard for him, but he was so brave.

He stayed home today from school and rested and ate popsicles.  His tummy was upset all night.  I hope he feels better soon!  I feel for him, teeth problems are no fun at all.  He did get $5.00 for that big tooth, so that made him pretty excited!!  Beth
