I just can't believe Preston is 11 today!!! Didn't he just turn nine? I am astounded by how fast my family is growing up. It's so much fun though. Preston is really starting to get along with the older boys better and it's fun to see them act like friends more often. He's a really mature 11 year old. I expect just as much out of him as his older brothers, which isn't fair sometimes. He's kind of had to grow up faster-to keep up with the two older brothers!
He's a lot like Kirk. He's quiet, hard working, hates being bored...but his sense of humor is awesome and he always makes us laugh. He is especially good with little kids. He loved Tayla to pieces after she was born, and he helped me the most with her. Through the years he has always been so patient and loving towards little kids. He just has a love for them.
We're so blessed to have Preston in our family! He helps me with shopping, dinners, organizing, yard work, fixing bikes, gardening (he LOVES to grow things) and keeping me on task. It's so funny sometimes when I hear him asking me to make sure I put certain groceries on my list. He's so responsible like that! Happy birthday to Preston!! Beth
