I had a great birthday too. We didn't do a whole lot. Kirk made me awesome hamburgers. I made my favorite vanilla cake. I went to church :). My sweet young women came over in the morning and sang to me and brought me flowers. It was a great day. I also got this:

Easter was great! Here's my attempts at getting a decent Easter photo. Tayla seemed to think she needed some bunny ears since it was Easter.
I just gave up. Easter pictures are over rated anyway. I also had the chance to sing in the choir for our Easter program. I sang a solo as well. It's so hard for me to hear compliments after I sing because I know all the parts I could have done better at-BUT I have learned through the years to say thank you and not point out where I messed up. My favorite compliment was that I sounded "angelic" That made my day!! Someone else told me I "rocked" that solo. Wow!! Is that even allowed?
(It was a more upbeat song, so I did get to belt it out a few times)
After church Easter dinner was so yummy!!!
We also did a fun egg hunt in the back yard, but you really do not want to see the state of my yard right now. We've been doing some heavy garage and shed cleaning and it is quite a disaster!!!
My kids have been having fun with my baking kick lately. Cupcakes.
I don't really do cupcakes, but was asked to bake them for an upcoming party. So I've been practicing. This is the basic white cupcake with chocolate frosting. They were amazing!!!! I have been getting my recipes from http://www.yourcupofcake.com There are so many yummy kinds!! I am going to do 5 different kinds for the party.
Finally, the moon was amazing and HUGE the other night (Tuesday?) My camera doesn't even begin to capture the beauty of it, but you get the point right?
Well, this month is looking good so far!!! I am looking forward to our anniversary on Thursday and Logan's birthday on Sunday. Oh my goodness, how can I have an almost 14 year old!!!!!???? Beth
