Tooth time!

It finally happened!  Tayla lost her first front tooth!  It's been loose for a long time now and the other night she pulled me into the bathroom and said, "Mom, just twist it out...wait, let me get my kitty first."  I am famous for pulling out my kids teeth by twisting them.  They come out so easily, but they have to be the one to decide to let me.  I sure don't want to traumatize my kids!!  So, Tayla got her kitty and let me twist it out!  It's a pretty big tooth and now she has the cutest little gap in her smile!  She's having a hard time with speaking (especially the th sound) but other than that she was thrilled.  (I thought it was so cute she wanted her little stuffed kitty to help her be brave.)

I also had to share this picture of her new friend.  Since her best friend moved she's been pretty sad, but a few months ago she started talking about her new friend at school.  We've been having play dates and when she came over we made bracelets!  It was really fun!  And what's even cuter is her name is Taylor!  They are joined at the hip at school and I'm so happy they found each other!!!!  Beth
