I've sat down so many times and tried to write a blog post, and now it's Friday again. Fridays come around way too quickly. They used to mean a "break" from the work week and cherished time to spend with Kirk, but now. Well, now they are a crazy mess. By Monday I'm ready to crawl in bed and just stay there for a while until the ringing of kids and chaos stops. This week proved to be especially busy as well. It was just an off kind of week. Monday was no school, so add that into the weekend and it was insane. I thought I was all prepared for a nice day off with the kids, but it ended up horrible! I almost blogged about it, but decided to wait until I didn't remember half of the stuff that happened. Wow, that worked well! I can't really remember.
Anyway, in a nutshell, Kolby was home with strep throat on Tues. and Weds. I managed to fit in a haircut, playgroup, root canal and visit teaching the rest of the week. Yes, I said root canal. UGH!!! Does it ever end!!!!! My teeth are going to be the death of me. I was reading about my great grandma and they wrote how she had wonderful teeth. She never had to have fake teeth. She lived to be 101!!! Here I am almost 35, and half of my teeth are fake. Crazy!!!!
In other news, I finally finished my cup holder. It has been wonderful so far!! My dishwasher isn't full of cups at the end of the day anymore.
I am experimenting with a cute idea I saw on a cupcake site. My boys have loved eating all the leftovers! (I make the cupcakes from scratch, not a box!)
I made crepes with strawberries and cream cheese filling the other morning. Now the boys want a hot breakfast every day! I decided it's not a bad idea, so today I made french toast. Breakfast is funner to make than dinner anyway!
I don't remember what day we made this, but I do remember all the begging it took for me to finally do it. This was the recipe in the Friend magazine and Dallin was SOOOO happy to make it!
Check out my cute new earrings I snagged at the 70% off clearance sale at Fred Meyers!! I love them!
Last picture. Dallin (my first grader!) got this note in his Valentines bag and still hasn't figured out who it is from.
I think it is a little forward wanting to move in and all. Geesh!!
I'm keeping it forever, I laughed so hard!
Have a happy weekend everyone! Hope I'll see you again before Friday :) Beth

That. Is. Hilarious! Girls are so forward nowadays. Also, krusteaz.com has some cute ideas for creative pancakes like 3-D dinosaurs. I think I'm gonna give it try.
Sorry to hear about your root canal. No fun!
I love the cup holder.
So are there layered cupcakes in the jar?
That was me. I somehow hit enter twice. Sorry.
By the way, I like your new earrings.
LOVE the cup holder! It's so cute. I hope it makes your life much easier :)
You're an incredible mom to make hot breakfast. Your boys are lucky to have you.
Kolby's gift brought tears to my eyes. What a selfless kid. He's had a wonderful mom to set the example.
