Easter Sunday

We were so lucky this Sunday to have a conference, which just happens to be in the building next to the temple!  What a beautiful day to celebrate Jesus Christ and his resurrection.  I love singing the Easter songs and thinking about all He did for me.  I am so glad I had my camera!  Tayla was so cute in her new dress....can I just say how fun it is to have a little girl at Easter time?!!  Let's see....

I've made it our tradition to go to Burlington and pick out an Easter dress.  She went with pink this year, but loves blue too!  I also managed to get a picture of my handsome boys.

I had plenty of time to plan a nice Easter dinner for the afternoon.  We had ham, twice-baked potatoes, rolls, deviled eggs, green beans and lots of olives!!

The olives were a HUGE hit!!!

After dinner I had an egg hunt ready in the backyard.  I love how the older kids still get thrilled when they find an egg!  It was so fun!

I decided I need to start doing family traditions since my extended family doesn't celebrate every holiday together, which is fine, but I want my kids to have good memories like I do.  I can imagine years from now a table full of children, spouses and grandchildren sharing in a special family day.  I'm just practicing for it now I guess!!  Hope you all had a wonderful day!  Beth
