It all started with cake pops! I think they turned out way cute and none of the kids in class had even seen them before! I did some with chocolate cake and some with yellow cake. It makes a lot of pops, so I saved some to dip later on.
Logan has a great sense of humor and after he passed them out he instructed the class they are supposed to "lick" the cake pops. It was too funny!! Then he took a huge bite of one and they suddenly "got it"
Right after school was their first track meet! It was so windy/cold/miserable but Logan and his friend (the only two shot-putters from Jefferson) placed 2nd and 3rd out of 30+ boys!! I was so proud of him! Logan also placed 4th in the 70 yard dash. Kolby placed 1st in the 60 yard dash. That kid is FAST!!
We didn't get home from the meet until 7:00 (I had to take 6 boys home!) Kirk had dinner ready and we had "snack cake" (an all time favorite around here!) My Dad also came by to give Logan his presents. It was a fun day and tonight will hold even more fun for Logan!
