I was able to go on a field trip with Preston's class to the Kuna High School ag expo. It was really windy, cold and fun! They do such a great job with this event. I remember going with Logan when he was in 1st grade. They had calves to pet, a horse and baby, sheep, pigs, chickens, ice-cream, planting, a greenhouse, and huge tractors. It was really organized and Preston and Dallin loved it.
Here is me trying to look cool. We had another meeting downtown to see our financial planner. It sounds all fancy, but it has been really helpful for us. We first saw him a few years ago and he helped us find better life insurance, re-finance our home, and establish a firm plan. We are so close now, just one more bill to pay off. Anyway, the reason I was trying to look "cool" is because everytime I go downtown I feel out of place. I feel like I need to wear earrings and big sunglasses and cute hair. It is so stupid that I feel that way, but it is fun to feel "cool" once in a while. I am seriously lacking in the cool department since having kids. I have no cute clothes and no style. I need Oprah to come to my house and burn all my clothes and help me. Maybe I can get some things for Mother's Day. If only Christine were here to help me!!!
Last you get some cute pictures of Tayla. I bought a punching bag and gloves at a garage sale, and my kids love it!! Even little Tayla threw some great punches! And her hair was really cute in the clips. We are getting better at this hair fixing thing. Woo Hoo!
Anyway, that is all for now. I must go shopping and stock up on food to get us through the weekend and Mother's Day. Beth
P.S. Maybe I will get that cheesecake done this weekend :)

Sweet pic of you Beth! It's frustrating when everything doesn't seem to get done. I've been so frustrated lately because I've had a lot to do but every time I start walking around I get contractions and baby is not quite done cookin'. On the flip side it's kinda nice to say no for once.
First of all, you really do look cool in that picture. You totally belong downtown right there. As for the other stuff; I am so glad I am not the only one feelin that way. I feel like there are a million pieces of information jumping up and down in my brain and I can't seem to organize it all. I hate when you are working ALL day doing a million things but it doesn't look like you lifted a finger in the house. So, don't worry, I feel your pain. I have no solution for you, but you are in good company.
P.S. I skip showers all the time!
WTG, Tayla, LOL!!! :) That picture is PRICELESS. :) And if I ever hear of a good way to get everything we want done, DONE, I'll be sure to tell you *before* I write a book and retire!!! ;)
(p.s. - yes, you do look very cool in that shot! :) Downtown has that sort of atmosphere to me, too... ;)
i totally understand! it's nice to know you are human too and get overwhelmed! take it easy once in a while and be easier on yourself! you have 5 kids and a husband! it's not easy....:) love ya,
