Another one bites the dust

Meet my new friend....

Has this ever happened to you? One day your microwave catches on fire, and the next night your sump pump stops working and the engine burns up? Well, if it has, I know how much it SUCKS!!! Buying a microwave was painful enough-even though I love it and got a great deal on it. But buying a new $230.00 pump (which is not a regular sale item might I add) was more than painful. But what do you do? We had to have it. If you wonder what a sump pump is, it is the pump in our basement that the downstairs shower, toilet, sink, upstairs sink and the washer is connected to. It pumps the water out. It is pretty important to our home. You don't however get a picture of it, because it is gross. You don't need to see the stinky sink hole in the floor where it lives. It is not pretty. Useful, but not pretty. I have been without a washer for days, and the boys can't use their bathroom. It just seems like rotten timing. Nothing else can break!!! We are trying to save for our Michigan trip.
Do you hear me old house and appliances and pumps?
Nothing else can break!
We did have a good fun lunch yesterday to end my post on a positive note. I saw this idea a while ago and tried it, and the kids loved it! Thanks Mandie :)

Oh girl...I think my bad luck is rubbing off on everyone...I guess I'm just sharing the wealth or something. I was coming home the other day and Jo Dee Messina was on just at the right time..."tomorrows another, but I'm thirsty anyway, so bring on the rain" That's my new song and you can adopt it too if you want to.

Hmmm, I seem to think that we had a time like that last year...Tom in the ER, two days later me in the ER. LOL...hang in there. This, too, will pass. I'm going to share the lunch idea with a few friends.
