Church was hard today. I'm talking about a Dallin punching Logan, Preston having very loud laughing fits, Kolby pretending his hymnbook was a monster (like in Harry Potter!), Tayla peeing on my skirt kind of hard. No matter where I moved my boys they were getting into trouble!! My patience was certainly tried and I feel so bad, but can't remember hardly anything from the talks. I was really trying to have a good sacrament meeting so I could have a good spirit while teaching my lesson.....
My lesson turned out anyway! It was wonderful and I said some things I wasn't planning on saying but just felt them come out. I felt guided and it felt good. I guess I didn't need a good sacrament meeting to have the spirit. I think it is because I have had such a good week! I have been praying and reading the scriptures more than usual all week and really soaked in the spirit during stake conference and Time Out For Women. It carried over into my lesson even though sacrament meeting was so rough. I am so thankful for this.

I'm glad your lesson went great even though at the end I interrupted the class trying to find the mother of a child who REALLY needed a diaper change. Sorry!
Oh sweet Beth...Thank goodness your lesson went well. Heavenly Father knew you needed the blessings after enduring sacrament meeting and stat. Hope the rest of the week is better!
Oh Beth! I'm so sorry sacrament meeting was so hard, even one of those things would have sent me over the edge. I wish I could have been there for your lesson, it sounds like it was wonderful.
I wonder how Heavenly Mother makes it through a sacrament meeting? I'm so glad that the spirit can see the joys of kids so we can enjoy our life. Don't forget what we learned, "if a thing is worth doing, it's worth doing badly til we learn to do it better." Your kids are working on that:)
As USUAL your lessons are always great and inspiring! I never have figured out how you do it time after time after time... I'm lucky to get to listen to you teach!
I agree... your lesson was wonderful... as always! And any woman who can keep track of five kids while her husband sits up front and watches, is amazing.
WAY cute family pictures! I love them!
