The messier the better. I flash back to grade school when I loathed brushes and hid from my Mom so she couldn't comb my hair. Maybe I was just ahead of my time, I love messy hair now! This style screams "look at how classy I can be, look how much time this took me, look at my cute earrings!"
But really, just so you know, I am telling you what this style says to me, "I didn't have time for a shower today, my hair was in knots when I woke up, I need to get out the door now and aren't my earrings cute?" Seriously! I am not trying to show off when I wear my hair this way, it is just my way of feeling "pretty" on a pretty bad day....but I am all smiles because it really does look like I spent a lot of time on it and it gives me some confidence as I face the world. When I had hair long enough to do that do you know how long it took me??? Us straight hair people got the short end of the stick!
