I have been feeling a little down all week, but last night I had fun. Singing!!! Kirk was dreading going to this dinner last night, and wouldn't tell me why, and I soon found out....Karaoke! BUT He got up and sang TWICE!!! It was so fun listening to him sing "Lady" and "Desperado" The DJ even said "I've been doing this a long time and heard a lot of people sing, and MAN can he sing!" I just sang fun stuff like "Hopelessly Devoted" and "Any Man of Mine" and several others (I could go all night I'm telling you!) Anyway, I think that was just what I needed. Now I know what to do when I am feeling down, sing!! Karaoke anyone?

Sign me up! Nothing says Karaoke like Olivia Newton-John. Kirk definitely hides his talent...he needs to sing more maybe a duet with you in sacrament...hint hint!
Yeah, it's probably good that they didn't *advertise* the karaoke beforehand, LOL... but I think it turned out fun! (Even if I couldn't breathe for half the song I did, LOL...) The whole dinner was actually really nice - glad they invited everyone! :-)

I loved all your songs and Kirk's too. I thought about getting up, but the longer the night went the more tired I got. lol...maybe next time. My kids had a blast up there.
