Finding my way back

It has been a while since my last post. I spent a busy week in Utah with my sister and her three boys (I miss them!!) I had the chance to see two of my best friends while there and it made me a bit sad that I don't get to see them as often as I would like to. We had a quick trip home and it took me a week to unpack/recover. On top of that I had a talk to prepare, a lesson for young womens, and of course I couldn't miss the HUGE Albertsons sale going on. (I saved over $350.00!!!)
Anyhow, I am feeling a bit blue, but I am slowly finding my way back. Getting back into the routine. I registered my boys for a new school this year. I loved Garden City Community School, but the drive was killer for us and I felt like if we had a closer school I could be more involved with PTO and volunteer work. The boys are a little scared and not so happy about the uniforms, but I think they will adjust fine. I am also on the pre-school board again, so we will see how it goes! Logan had a recreation camp last week which he loved! He was able to go ice-skating, biking, hiking, to the movies, swimming, discovery center, celebration park and lots of other fun activities. We will be doing that one again next summer for sure! This week is his second year of circus camp. He is a natural performer! It has been hard getting there by 9:00, which is great practice for us to get ready for school. I have had to set a firm bedtime which is hard for the boys who want to play in the cooler evenings. Next week Kolby has a rock climbing camp. And then school will be on our doorstep! Wish me luck as I shop and prepare for school. Beth

I'm glad to have you back to blogging. :) It was really great to see you last week. That you so much for letting my kids play at your house. It was a real lifesaver.

Our kids can commiserate and adjust to uniforms together. :) I did find polos at Walmart today for $5. Now if I could just find the navy pants for George. Kindergarten Boy in khaki? everyday?! I don't think so!

Boy, I sure can't see your boys wearing uniforms. At least there will be no question what to wear. It was great seeing you...and I'm glad you made it home safely.

Are your boys in Jefferson? Our kids weren't thrilled with the uniforms, but they have gotten used to them. They grin and bear it now. lol

I know this suggestion is more costly, but I've found it is worth the cost. Go to Nelson's School Supply. The pants are a bit more expensive, but they are higher quality and last the entire year. I wish we had some we could hand down to you. We also only get 3 shirts, two pair of pants and one pair of shorts.

You saved $350 at Albertson's?!?! That's insane!

Where is Kolby going to rock climbing camp? Garrett would LOVE that! He's too young for any of the clubs around here so for now he can only free climb but he really wants to get into something more organized.
