Taya before church SundayMy sweet Tayla had her 15 month check up today. She weighed in at a whopping 20 lbs 12 oz, and measured 30 3/4 inches. That's 25% weight and 75% height. The same percentages as her 12 month check up, so she's growing at the same rate. She needs a new car seat so bad, but didn't weigh enough at 12 months (18 lbs 11 oz) so we kept her in her rear-facing seat. Now she can be turned around and I think she will love the view! She also has an ear infection which I didn't notice (she's just been whining more, but no fever, plus she has a cold and is teething-are those enough excuses to make me feel better?) I hope she gets better soon! I wanted to do a picture of her right at 15 months, but my camera is officially broken! I can't even blame it on my kids, I dropped it while at Chuck E Cheese! I am very distraught, it's been two days since I have taken a picture and I am missing it so much! If any of you have any suggestions, let me know because I haven't bought a camera for three years and things have changed so so much! I hate to spend the money right now (especially since I just got the new ring) but I can NOT go through Christmas without a camera! It's too important to me. I won't even have it for Santa tonight at the ward Christmas party, bummer!!!! I plan on getting one this weekend. Cross your fingers, Beth

They grow up so fast, don't they? I hope Tayla gets feeling better soon. As for the camera I love my Canon PowerShot. It has a fast processor. I don't get nearly as many closed eyes, etc. Linda bought one since I bought mine and she loves it, too.
I asked Tim if he would mind loaning his camera to you for Christmas. He said that was fine. I have to warn you that it's my old one and a little slow. But it would be better than nothing. If you decide you need it just let us know.
Such a dainty little sweetie! :-) Camera-wise, we hear Canon is great; we recently got a Sony EasyShare M1033 or M1063 - I can never remember - and we love it. The software, not so much, but we can just pop the memory card (pretty cheap now; you can find a lot of bundles on cameras and a 2GB SD card) into our card reader (also pretty cheap). I think we spent a little over $150, but you can get nice cameras for around $100 (or cheaper). Happy camera shopping! :-)
Sorry to hear about the camera. Mine has been giving me fits to but is okay. My sister in law has Nikon and it is really good. I really like the pictures she is able to get. You baby girl is getting big. I bet she is going to love being so grown up like her brothers. :) Merry Christmas

I can't believe how fast she's growing up. I totally feel your pain on the camera issue. Matt finally ordered a camera for me yesterday. I talked with a good friend that is a photographer and he said if you're getting a camera you can't go wrong with either a cannon or nikon. Good Luck!!!
