Christmas memories
I LOVE this season, but I hate how quickly it flies by!!! So many memories were made and I hope the boys look back on Christmas with lots of happiness. I wanted to write some highlights without going into too much details or this could take way too long! First was sitting on Santa’s lap and each of my boys requesting fireworks and flashlights. It was a little tricky for Santa to get fireworks though, so a map was left on the tree with a twenty dollar bill attached. (The map leads to a firework stand which is open for the New Year holiday) It was so cool to see the reaction, and they can’t wait for the stand to open. Logan read Luke 2:1-7 for sacrament meeting and he did a very nice job, a few of the big words were a little hard to say (Caesar Augustus, Galilee, Nazareth etc.) but he did well. The boys were ready for bed by 7:30 and I told them they couldn’t come upstairs the next morning until the clock said 7:00. They waited by the clock from 6:34 until 7:00 and ran upstairs to wake me up. Kirk and I were up late wrapping presents and there was a knock on the door. I also heard someone run. A big box of oranges and a card with money were left. I wish I knew who did it so I could thank them. It was so so kind. Kolby lost his other front tooth Christmas Eve and was so excited to have the Tooth Fairy AND Santa come the same night. We had so much fun opening presents, even Dallin got in on the action! We had some gifts to deliver and then we started a new tradition of grilling steaks for Christmas dinner. They were YUMMY!!!!! By the end of the day we were all so tired and slept so good. Now I have two weeks of all the boys home all day long. I’m glad we have all the new toys, games, books and DVD’s to keep us busy!
