I have been diving into our family histories and having so much fun with it!! I came across something amazing and had to share it with you! I found a family history story about my 4th great grandfather-William Warren Taylor. In the history it talks about settling in Monroe County, Missouri with the "Allred's from Tennessee" more specific an Isaac Allred. This name caught my eye, I remember Kirk having an Isaac Allred on his family tree. So I found his Allred family history stories and sure enough, they are from Tennessee and lived in Missouri at the same time my Taylors lived there. They were taught the gospel by Joseph Smith himself and both William and Isaac joined Zions Camp and marched on to Jackson County. I can't believe Kirk's 4th great grandfather and my 4th great grandfather were friends. Actually after a little more digging, they were more than friends, One of Isaac's sons married one of Williams daughters! That means Kirk and I have similar distant relatives....well, after doing family history I think we all are cousins somehow anyway!

That's so fun! We found something similar in ours. One of my ancestors served as a missionary with one of tom's ancestors.
