Two great aunts!

I wanted to do a quick post in memory of my two great aunts who passed away recently.  Aunt Verneal and Aunt Ermadean are my grandmothers sisters (on my Dad's side).  They were so sweet to me and as a child I would often get these two mixed up (as you can tell from the picture, they look so much alike!).  I knew Verneal better as a child, but as an adult I was able to get to know Ermadean better as well.  They were really neat ladies.  They were fun too, always smiling and talking about everything.  Some fond memories I have of Verneal are spending the night at her house many times, her teaching me how to paint my nails, her awesome food and giving me my first fresh milk from a cow, her energy and zest for life, fresh raspberries she'd give me every time I visited, her trampoline and fun yard, her basement full of toys, a huge chalkboard and a pool table (it was AWESOME!!!) and her voice.  I loved her voice.  Kirk and I would visit Ermadean often and she just loved hearing all about my family of boys.  Every time I would visit she'd give me something she had made (like a pot holder).  Both aunts really really wanted me to have a girl and when that day came they could not wait to visit me and hold her.  They showered her with gifts and love.  This is the last picture I have of them and just the way I want to remember them.  Beth
