What's going on!!

I think I start all of my posts now with, "I've been busy!"  I don't know what it is, but somehow I think I can save the world and decorate it at the same time.  I know, dramatic, but it just keeps coming!!  I do find a lot of joy in my busy days however, so I'm not complaining!  School is winding down and I've been going on field trips and to special events and concerts.  It's crazy!  I can count 13 things to attend in the next 3 weeks, plus it's Prestons birthday this week too!  What have I been up to lately?

I went to the Boise music week school night at the Taco Bell Arena.  Logan sang and there were 2 orchestras, 3 bands and several choirs.  It was a fun night.

I threw together a dessert table for a surprise party.  I was excited that I could do it on such short notice! (All the desserts aren't on the table yet.  People were bringing them through the night, so we just put them out when they arrived.)

Kolby's class did prints of houses in the area.  They have been on display all over the city.  I finally saw one of the displays and got to see Kolby's print.  It was a really neat process how they made these.  First, they took pictures of homes.  Second they used materials like yarn, sticks, papers etc. to make the different parts of the house.  Then they did a print of the house using this rolling press.  It was really neat and the house prints look amazing!

Tayla met Darth Vader and he said "The force is strong with this one"

This week I worked really hard and made what seemed like a million cake pops (it was only like 200) and put these cute gifts together for the sisters in our ward.  I think everyone liked it so much better than a flower.  So many sisters just knew it was me who did it.  I thought that was funny!!  I didn't tell anyone what I was doing (except Kirk and the bishop!)  They just said it looked like something I would do. :)

I had a good Mother's Day, not many pictures!!  I wore a new dress and taught in Young Women's.  The boys and Kirk made me a great breakfast with fresh fruit salad and omelets.  It was so sweet!!  Glad all my boys can cook.  Well, that's all for now!  Wish me luck on the weeks ahead!!  Beth
