New Year, New Me....

In 2010 I started a little blog about my great ambitions and goals.  It was called "New Year, New Me"  Each month I would post updates on it and it really seemed to keep me moving along with my goals.  Then we had a sad family tragedy and it de-railed my efforts and for the rest of the summer I was just surviving.  2011 went fast, but so many things have changed and I am feeling so much focus in my life.  It could be the fact that my youngest is four and all of my boys are very independent.  In short, I'm just not needed 24/7 like I used to be.  It is a new season in my life.  For a good 9 years straight I was pregnant or nursing.  NINE YEARS!!!  Oh the diapers...the sleepless nights....the endless days...the messes....the crying babies.....the crazy ride my body took!!!  I forgot how it felt to have time to myself.  To grow and change and improve.  I love the things those 9 years have taught me, and I am so thankful for my sweet babies.  They were all such a joy in my life.  But now, I have a little more me time and I am going to take full advantage of it.  I am busy, but it's a good busy.  I am not running around putting out fires, I am making them (figuratively of course!!)  So here's to a very productive new year.  Here's to growth and change and wonderful goals.  I am excited about the possibilities and I want to make every moment count.  Bring it on 2012, I am ready!!!  Beth
