I wanted to share this with you because I think it is awesome for a 6th grader!
Black
Black is a very dark color. It has many different characteristics. It can be the dark night sky to the hair on a barber shop floor. In my story I will tell you more. Black feels like a damp and cold day to the feeling you get when you're sleeping in hay. Black feels like your clothes are drenched in icy cold water. Black feels like the feeling when a wolf howls, or when you hear someone that is making a scowl. Black looks like the dark clouds before a thunderstorm to the hair on a barbershop floor. Black looks like the nose of a polar bear too. It also looks like the shadow that always follows you. Black sounds like the the dark silent night to the sound you make when you are paralyzed with fright. Black sounds like the eerie silence of the night or when you're in a room with no one and no light. Black smells like the world right after it rains or when you're on a farm with your aunt Jane. Black smells like the smell that comes out of the sugar factory to the exhaust of an old car that is not satisfactory. Black tastes like black licorice that is one year old to some week old leftovers that are very cold. Black tastes like tar that you pave the road with, or rubber that is melted, do not take a whiff. As you can see from my story and me, black is a dark color so leave it be. For if you do not this is what it will do, it will come after you. For black is everywhere as you can see and knows where you are and where you will be.
