My boys had wonderful teachers this year!! I always try to do something special for the last day but with 4 teachers it can get a little spendy.... so I decided to put my talents to good use!!
First I made my yummy toffee blondies. If you haven't had these yet, you are missing out!! They are just amazing. One of my best desserts. I wrapped a huge piece in some cute paper.
Then I made caramel popcorn balls and attached a cute metal tag to it.
I made these cute fabric flower pins and attached it to a card. On the back was this poem I wrote:
Here’s a little flower I made just for you
To serve as a reminder when you’re feeling kind of blue
Just pin it on your jacket, your purse or a bag
And remember you’re the best teacher a kid could ever have!!

To finish off the present, I added some huge chocolate strawberries on a cute summer plate.

The best part was being able to deliver these to the teachers and give them all hugs and thanks. Kolby's teacher gave me a gift card to Cheesecake Factory and a little book with thank you notes from all of the students!! Dallin's teacher also gave me a gift card to Fred Meyer. I will really miss going to the school every week. I am so excited for next year to help out again!! I am happy for summertime though and have a lot of really fun plans for all the kids!!! Tonight is our "End of School Celebration" which will begin with pizza, ice-cream floats and watermelon and end with a campout in our backyard. Hooray!!! Beth
