I can't even tell you how excited I am for summer to be here! I have so much fun with my kids! They love adventure, parks, activities and being outside. I've been planning our summer for months now, and IT'S HERE!!!! I have no diapers, babies or crazy toddlers which really helps make summer better! I made a super cute word cloud using Wordle It's a fun way to get the kids excited about everything, and as we do it we will cross it off! Our summer schedule is a little like this: Morning-breakfast and AM chores, garden work, drop off someone to some kind of camp/class, lunch, outing (like the zoo, parks or discovery center), free time, dinner, family time outside, bed, repeat..........................We have so many fun things planned! Logan is taking a merit badge camp for all of June which will take up most of his days, but he will have 15 merit badges when he's done!!! He is also taking a lego camp with Kolby where they build robots and cars that run on solar power or batteries. He has a week long scout camp in July and the rest of the summer I'm sure will be filled with swimming and friends. Kolby is taking a bouldering camp which is perfect for him! It's like rock climbing (which he loved a few years ago) but involves more free style. Dallin starts art classes on Tuesday and will have 5 weeks of those-I am so excited for this because he really has talent in that area!! He also is taking tennis lessons for two weeks. Tayla is starting dance classes on Thursdays that go all summer. She is over the top excited about this!!! It's so fun having a girl :) The four younger kids will also do swimming lessons for a few weeks. We're excited to visit new parks, pick strawberries, go camping, sleep outside on the deck, work in our garden and the cool school garden they planted, visit some sites like the State Capital, Train Depot and our favorite tree in Veteran's Park. We also have a lot of great friends just around our neighborhood that I'm sure will be part of our activities. I'm such a kid at heart so I really enjoy doing fun stuff with my kids. It all starts today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beth
PS I am throwing in some "me" time too!! I am taking Soul Restoration 2 this summer and CAN'T WAIT!!! It starts on Tuesday. Soul Restoration 1 was so life changing, and I am ready for so much more!!! I will share some of my art/soul work in a future post.
