Thirty-four: Days two/three

I have to admit, I was looking forward to this night MORE than my actual birthday...Girls night out!!!  I invited a lot of people, but since it was spring break, not everyone could come.  It was still a fun night.  I think we need to have nights like this MORE OFTEN!!  We had a great room all to ourselves at Smoky Mountain Pizza and Pasta.  I am so glad to have the wonderful friends I do in my life.  I love them all!!

Adrianne surprised me with the most AMAZING cake I've ever tasted!  (We all want the recipe.)  I ate the leftovers for breakfast the next day :)  I even remembered to make a wish!

After dinner a few of us went to the movie I Am Number Four.  It made us jump and laugh and jump some more.  It was great!  I was pretty tired when I got home (around 11:00) and was happy to see the lights off....but the minute I walked in the door everyone yelled "SURPRISE!!"  Kirk and the kids had cleaned the house and made this huge spread of cheese, crackers and meats for me.  The boys even pooled some money (for me to buy a new watch) and gave me a sweet card.  It was such a sweet thing to do, but we were soooooo tired the next morning!!!

Saturday my sweet sister treated me to a manicure and hot chocolate.  I didn't manage to take any pictures, but my nails look so pretty!!  I haven't had them done since I was pregnant with Tayla! 

That night Kirk and I were able to go to a Steelheads game with Maria and her husband.  It was so much fun, but I am coming down with a cold and need some R&R!!  It felt like my weekend would never slow down!  Now I must focus on Spring Break and having the kids home all week!  Thanks to everyone who made my birthday so wonderful!!  Beth
