I LOVE going to hockey games! I can't stand watching it on TV, but live is so much fun!! Our bishop got a "sweet' suite for the young men and women to watch the game from and it was amazing!!
(I don't usually go to the YW activities, but was MORE than happy to help out since we needed another leader to go.) We are missing quite a few YW because of spring break, but these are the lucky ones who came!
We had a great view of the game, soft seats, tables and chairs, pizza and sodas....it was "sick" as one of the girls described it. I could get used to this :)
Here's the young men, I was so sad Logan missed this activity by 9 days!!! :(
And to top off the night, we trashed Utah!!!!! We scored 4 goals the first quarter, and won 7-2. There were a few good fights and the players seemed really aggressive for some reason-which makes for a great game! I also took advantage of Bishop's amazing knowledge of all things sports and now I can say I have a really good understanding of hockey :) Too bad this was the last home game!
For one of the songs they played "Ice Ice Baby" and it took me back to eighth grade when we did a cheerleading dance to that song. Even some of the leaders still knew every word, loved that song, hee hee!!!

I can just picture all the oldies wanting to jump up and do the running man. HA HA HA
oh man. I miss those hockey games!!!! Jeff and I LOVED watching the Steelheads... Tell Bishop he rocks :)
