I haven't blogged for a while and thought I would share a few highlights of what has been going on around here.
A cute project for my wall over the bench...it just felt too bare and this gives it just the right touch and my fridge isn't crowded with so many art projects now! I used nails and twine and then stuck wooden buttons on the nail heads. Colored binder clips are holding the papers on. Tayla hasn't tried to rip it down yet either!
A visit from some cousins after the boys decided to come home early from camping (oh well, I got two nights this time!) These guys are cooling off on the deck with a popcicle.
A Memorial Day service at the Morris Hill Cemetary (we live close by) We go every year and enjoy seeing honest Abe and the old guns being fired!
Some work in the garden boxes Kirk built on Monday-YEAH!!! (those are tomatoes and marigolds, and the burried milk cartons have holes on one side and you fill them with water to water the roots of the plants) I have three more boxes to finish.
Some slippery fun in the yard after working in the garden (I am so impressed with how hard my boys worked! They dug holes for the boxes and mixed a lot of dirt up to go inside)
Some pretty flowers for my deck, I am trying really hard not to go overboard with flowers this year.
So there you have it! I had a great weekend without the boys, but I think they are all camped out for a few weeks! And next time I get to go :) Beth
P.S. only 5 1/2 more days left of school, then the fun really begins!!!

wow, looks like lots of fun!!!!! :)
I love your picture hanging project! and I don't think it is possible to go overboard on flowers.
Do you know when the Ward campout will be?
It's so hard not to buy flowers. They are so pretty...I never understand the importance of having flowers around until we had our own house...they just make you happy!
