I have always told people that everyone needs a son like Kolby in thier lives. He is so dependable and sweet. He watches over Tayla better than me sometimes!
He is very creative and loves legos and making projects. He has a great love and respect for all things in nature. He has a special way with animals and has taken care of many homeless birds, snakes, bugs and spiders. He will even take little bugs outside that I find in the house. He is so calm and birds will just sit on his arm. He amazes me!
He has a very fun side as well. He jokes around and makes everyone laugh. He has many friends because he is so fun to hang out with.
I call him my peacemaker because he helps me when no one else wants to. He never has to be told twice to do a chore. He just gets the job done that needs to be done. Of all the boys he is the most like Kirk I think. He has loved real tools since he was very young and is very good at fixing things and building things. I can't wait for him to do projects around the house for me! He once told me he wanted to be a mechanic because they make so much money-but that he would only charge me half price! He likes knives and dragons and scarey movies and loved his first time repelling while we were in Tetons. He wasn't scared at all and went three times! He also is very physical and good at any sport he tries. I'm not even sure what sport to focus on with him because he is good at all of them! He also dreams of owning a 4 wheeler someday..or a motorcycle...or a monster truck...

You can never go wrong with a mechanic in the family!!! Colby has grown up so much it's hard to believe that his baptism is so close.
