cookies and sore muscles!!!

Tayla has really been getting into her food lately and I call this stage the "messy" stage. Here is what I mean-who knew one cookie could go so far!

She's so cute and loves baths so it works out fine with me!

And I can't believe how sore I am after karate last night! My back, legs, abs (what little there is in there) arms, feet....everything! We practiced our kicks and punches and we were all sweating hard when we were done (class is 1 1/2 hours). He taught us about using our whole body to work together when we block and he even punched us in the stomach a few times so we could use our muscles to block. It is so fun and hard and I still love it. And Kolby and Logan have decided to enroll again for next month with me! Preston hates it still, but I hope he changes his mind. The boys are really starting to have fun with it now that we are getting the basic moves down. Logan is excited because he is losing weight and having more energy.

I took the boys to Narnia today with one of Logan's old friends who is visiting this week. It was a good movie, kind of long, but I think they enjoyed it. I can't believe how brave I am now. I remember having three boys and being scared to death to go to the store, and here I am taking five boys to the movies. It is nice when they get older and don't run away from you....

Anyway, there's lots of prep to do to get ready for the first day of school on Monday. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great Tuesday

Beth

Oh, yes... anything chocolate or covered in ketchup has a remarkable ability to distribute itself, LOL. Glad little Tayla loves baths! :-)

And that's SO awesome that you & the boys are having such a great time at karate!!! I bet the boys are loving the "tough" parts now - punches & everything!!! :-)

I can't wait until that day comes when they don't all run away from me and I can take 5 kids to the movies. I did take 5 kids to the park today and that is enough for me.
