My first time...

I finally took the plunge and got highlights on Saturday and I LOVE THEM!!!! I have never colored my hair or permed it or done anything to it other than a haircut, and now I wonder why! I have gotten tons of compliments on my hair over the weekend and they can't quite figure out what the change is-which is nice because I didn't want it to be so obvious. It's pretty fun to have some blonde. Poor Tay Tay (my little nickname for Tayla) is sick with a stuffy nose. She kept waking herself up last night trying to breathe so we didn't get a lot of good sleep. I have to suction her nose out before I nurse her and she HATES this. I hope this passes soon. I always wish there was something more I could do, but at this age there aren't a lot of options. She just likes to be held upright which helps her nose to drain, so I'm sure this won't be too productive of a day. Gotta go, Beth
