I've always called the first six weeks "baby boot camp" because of all the changes and things you go through those first weeks. After that I seem to be in a routine and feeling like a human again. I am doing very well, this week was a little thrown off by an emergency root canal (yuck!) but other than that I feel great! I am trying to get on an exercise routine and am thinking of pilates. Tayla is an absolute angel and sleeps well, eats well and has started smiling at us while shes awake this week! She has grown out of a few of her newborn clothes and I am starting to get into her 3 month old stuff allready! I am trying to think of a cute halloween costume for her to wear this Saturday to our ward trunk or treat. I only have a little dinosaur in her size, and that would just not be girly enough for her! She will probably be a little princess or something. Here are some of the cutest pictures I have taken these past weeks. Hope you like them! Beth

Such a cutie! I wish I could see her. Sorry about the root canal. Pilates are so great. I started those about 8 weeks after I had Maryn and was faithful for a year not missing too many days and you feel so much stronger. What they don't tell ya is you also need to do something cardio at least 3 times a week but it's so worth it. Good luck on the halloween costume! Isn't it so much fun to dress up little girls!
Oh those first 6 weeks are so horrible! At this point though, I will gladly take them. :) I'm glad you made it through and are feeling human again.
I can't wait to see what you decide on for Halloween! How fun!
