Reality sets in....

Oh man, I really am turning thirty in 8 days!!! It allmost seems unreal. Anna, my sis, is coming up and that should soften the blow. She's so much fun and we always have lots to talk about and do. Then on Sunday we are all (except Kirk) going back with them to spend the week in Utah. It should make for an interesting trip, all 7 boys ages 7-newborn!! I am so excited though and this trip has overshadowed my birthday (which is by the way a GOOD thing). I mentioned earlier about writing my obituary. It seemed so final and gloomy so I am going to write just a nice page about my first thirty years. I like what I have accomplished so far, but it is making me realize I have so many dreams and goals yet to achieve! And the clock is ticking! I think I did things a little backwards and focused on having children and raising them in my twenties when most people are going to college and working. I still have aspirations to be that drama teacher and to publish my songs, and maybe the thirties will be the decade. Maybe not. The forties look forever away, but I know they are coming soon too! I start getting the feeling that life is way too short. And for all of you reading this, we have a very exciting announcement to make and we will be making it on my birthday...so you will just have to wait...no bribes or anything (unless it's a cadbury egg, then maybe) Happy Friday!
