This spotlight could go on for pages, but I won’t do that to Anna! Happy Birthday to my “big sis”. I’ve been so lucky to have Anna as my sister. We get along so well and she totally understands my need to have themed parties or nice invitations or the reason I like to spend a little effort to make things special. (My husband on the other hand thinks I spend too much time and energy on such things.) We just “get it” on our own level. We have the same taste in a lot of areas. I always felt like a wannabe but I really do/did like all the things she did! She could pick me out something to wear and I would love it without even seeing it! We like the same movies, games, music, (in the past guys), clothes….the list goes on and on. Anna is my example and she is my hero! She is so kind and thoughtful. When I was very pregnant she sent me a card with some money and told me to treat myself to something special. She makes everyone feel special and loved in her life. People just want to hang out with her because she has such a light about her. She finds ways to help others and serve even from far away! She’s been through so much in her life and some of it wasn’t too pleasant, but she still smiles. That is why I admire her. That eternal optimist in me I see in her too. I am thankful to have a friend like her and only wish we could be neighbors and hang out all the time!! I love the time we do spend together though and can’t wait to go down next week to stay with her. Thanks for being such a good role model and support. You are definitely one of my most favorite people, and I feel so blessed to have a sister like you!!!
