Happy 2019!!

The Golightly siblings! Craig moved to Middleton from St. George the week after Christmas and we are so happy to have him in town!

Almost all of the Golightly grandchildren! (missing Tyler, Logan and Kolby)

The girls doing a family history day!!

So many wonderful things to look forward to this year! My main one is Logan coming home in June!!!! What an exciting thing that will be. It's funny to think of all the house changes we've had since he left. They weren't even planned, I just keep calling them missionary blessings! We got a new fridge, microwave, television, downstairs carpet, washer and dryer, painted the house, new home windows in the next month or so and our water heater is going out so a new water heater too!! Really, everything just decided to break down when he left, but some of the new things were just put in our path like the carpet, home painting and the washer and dryer. All of them are blessings however you look at it!! I'm not sure what will be left while Kolby is gone....and Preston and Dallin and Tayla....maybe I'll just have a new house by then!! Anyway, new years are fun and I enjoy looking forward to all the things that will be happening. Hazel will also be turning two so that is fun! She's such a fun little girl to have in our home. Super smart, a little stinker too. She's awesome. I am going to try and do more baking business this year, last year was super slow and it was perfect for me. I needed some time to just focus on our home and Hazel. I think I can handle more now, so I hope to get more orders.

This year I hope to:

Organize my time into daily, weekly and monthly routines for my home.
Declutter all areas of my home.
Study scriptures with the family more.
Work on family history instead of watching shows.
Attend the temple weekly.
Start doing my favorite hobbies more (scrapbooking, writing and art)

I feel like each year I am getting better at things. Managing time, keeping up with my home, spending time with my kids and Kirk. It's a process!! I also like to challenge myself to something new to bake. In past years I've done cookies with royal icing, cakes and decorating, meringues...so I will have to think of something I'd like to try. Maybe cake rolls. I'm not sure. Maybe bread, I'm not too good with bread yet.

Anyway! Here's to a wonderful new year!
Beth
