Dallin's turn!

It may take me all summer, but I have to get all the kids done!  Dallin has had lots of activity these past few months.  With the end of school there were field trips to the Idaho Historical Museum, the Discovery Center and the parks in downtown.  I was able to go to the museum and Discovery Center.  It was fun!  Third graders are a great group of kids.  They are old enough to really understand rules, they can read pretty good and they are excited to explore.  I loved my group.  I had these two cute Asian girls and we became fast friends.

If you ever go to the museum, bring lots of dimes!  You can play this slot machine for fun.  (I happened to have tons of change in my purse and provided dimes for the class!)

The pinewood derby took place in May.  Dallin didn't do as well as last year, but he still had fun making his car!

I love this picture of my dad and the boys watching the races.

Dallin and my dad-Grandpa Golightly!  He's got that excited look.

The third grade teachers have a tradition of having the students create puppets and put on shows.  They are really great!  Dallin was so expressive in his.  He was the bad guy-Rumpelstiltskin, and did the voices and even shouted perfectly!  They work so hard on these shows with weeks of practices and preparing.

Last of all I just thought this was a cute picture of Dallin and one of his best friends since Kindergarten!  They both earned a shirt by running 100 miles.

That's all the excitement about Dallin's life!  Oh, I forgot the first and last day of school pictures:
