It's a sweet thing!!

I was having serious doubts in December.  I had no orders for Christmas goodies.  None!  I was gearing myself up for a huge Christmas season, and nothing.  It was awful.  In 2012 I made enough money to pay for all of our Christmas gifts (including a trampoline) so I just assumed I'd be just as busy.  Boy was I wrong!

But it's all good!!

Maybe I needed a drought to appreciate the rain because I have been consistently busy every week since January.  I haven't felt overwhelmed, and I've been really enjoying the baking!  (the money isn't bad either!)  I was able to save enough to buy a new Bosch mixer last month.  I am over half way to a new camera.  It's been awesome!!!  And I am so excited about the summer.  I was recently hired to do a dessert table for a family reunion for a prominent family in this community.  (I'm not saying who yet, but I'm sure you all know who they are.)  I am beyond blessed to be able to do something I really enjoy.  I spent a lot of time trying to make my sweets blog a bit more user friendly and was able to add some nice pictures of my sweets on there.  I launched it today through Facebook and have over 250 page views already!  If you have time, check it out!   sweetsbybeth.blogspot.com

I tried to buy a domain, but apparently there's a sweetsbybeth in Texas and she isn't giving up the name.  Oh well!  Here's a latest sweet I made for Preston's birthday.
