You know, I'm not sure this merits its own post, but I wanted to have a record of how many times I am in the car with the kids lately. Today for example:
6:30 Logan to seminary
7:10 Kolby to school
8:20 Dallin, Preston and Tayla to school
11:30 Pick up Tayla
3:15 Pick up Dallin and Preston
5:00 Pick up Kolby
5:30 Pick up Logan
No wonder I'm always out of gas! Now, usually Kolby will take the bus to school, but on these cold days I hate him walking to the bus stop and today the buses were really late so I'm glad I took him. And on the warm days the two younger boys ride their bikes so I don't have to pick them up in the afternoon. It's just the winter that is killing me!!! I am thankful that the schools are close (within 2 miles of home). Anyway, I was the taxi today for sure! At least the heater is working in the van. A few weeks ago it stopped blowing warm air and it was so cold on those early mornings!! We would all wrap up in blankets and wear layers of coats and our breath would freeze on the INSIDE of the windshield!!!! This went on for about a week. Kirk toyed around with it for a few days, added a bunch of stuff to the radiator and it now blows warm air BUT only on high. At least we are nice and toasty during all those trips!!
