After the open house we headed to the Stake Center for Dallin's baptism. He was beyond excited!!!
I even got to give a talk on the Holy Ghost. There were a lot of people there to see Dallin baptized. I wish I had a group shot of everyone!!
After the baptism we went to eat at Dallin's favorite place, Chinese Grand Buffet!! It's a great place for adults and children, lots and lots of yummy choices!!
Tayla with her favorite cousin!! It's so fun having these girls together.
Aren't my parents adorable!!?
My uncle Doug issued a "Sushi Challenge" Five dollars for anyone who would eat one of every kind. (there were 21!!!!) Logan took the challenge, and ate them ALL!!!!! He would get seven on his plate, eat them and then get seven more. By the end, we thought he was going to loose it. He ended up getting 10 dollars instead, but I'm not sure if he thought it was worth it.
Preston took a smaller challenge and got a dollar for eating one.
Logan thinking about the "last bite"
Dallin with his sushi plate. He loves trying new foods!!
Dallin and my grandpa (he just turned 91 a few weeks ago!!!)
It turned out to be a pretty awesome day!! Sunday was great too with my family coming to church with us and Dallin getting confirmed. I'm so thankful for the gospel and for the example that Christ gave us to be baptized! I'm also so thankful for my wonderful children who have followed their Savior and are choosing the right ways each day. Tayla looks forward to the time she will be baptized too!! It's times like this that you realize how important your faith and family are. Beth
