Halloween (and other October happenings!)

Tayla wanted to be a dog this year.  Not just any dog but a dog named Zoe.  Just like the puppy our friends Nick and Max got.  They got a cute little puppy and Tayla's obsessed with the poor girl.  I'm glad she didn't want to be a princess again.  You can kind of see the pink collar I made her.  She loved being a dog and crawled all around to prove it!!

Dallin's class had a fun little parade at school.  I remember doing this when I was in school too!!  A parade around the classrooms, it was so fun!

He wanted to be a devil again, and he does make a darn cute one!!

Kolby was a ninja and Preston was a caveman, but sorry no pictures.  They were too busy with the candy gathering!!

In other news, I made some yummy cheesecakes for our scout auction and they did well!  My New York cheesecake was one of the best I've ever made.

We also were so so so lucky to find this awesome package in the mail from Kirk's mom.

I put it to use right away...

I'm so excited to be able to grind our own wheat and make yummy bread!!  I can grind all kinds of things, and can't wait to try out new recipes.

The last news is Logan had his first concert.  He's a great singer and it was fun to see him!

We also finished up football season.  They won a couple more games and ended the season with a win over North.  It was a really good game and the team improved a lot over the season!!  And now He's on to wrestling.  I don't know why, but he seems to want to be a jock.  I'm glad he's so well rounded, I'm just not used to my "little" boy doing all these crazy things that give him bruises and sore muscles.  I'm so not ready for Him to grow up.....well, he's got a way to go :)

Anyway, that is a bit of our lives this past month.  I have also been crazy busy with couponing.  After a summer off, I have hit it full force and am building up my stockpile like a mad woman!  There have been some great deals, so I'm feeling right on track again!!!  I also am finishing up my Brave Girls Soul Restoration part 2 and learning more and more.  I love Brave Girls.  They have an amazing message and they have really helped me.  Do me a favor and just watch this, because I was sure guilty of it!!!
