Vacation!

We had such a fun time this year at my aunts cabin.  So many memories were made and I am LOVING how self-sufficient my kids are getting.  I have never had more down time to just relax and do puzzles and enjoy the beautiful mountains.  No babies to feed, no toddlers to worry about....you get the picture!  We really missed having Logan with us though, he was away at his first scout camp which makes me feel way too old...  Anyway, this place is just a wonderful place to be.  In all we had 11 adults and 14 kids.

Kirk hauled a lot of wood up from the ravine.  Kolby and Preston were awesome helpers!  I loved it when my aunt said we had farm boys without a farm because they would work so hard!!

On our girls day in the town of Ennis we shopped a lot and I just thought this wall of boots to purchase was beautiful!!  Lots of hats for sale too.

I was lucky and caught this shot of Tayla just after she caught a butterfly.  Priceless!!!

Here are all the grand kids!  The girls are a bit outnumbered I say!!

I don't know who had more fun building the log cabin...Kolby, my brother or my dad!!

The boys loved using the hatchet and the ax to chop wood for the fire.

I think they are well stocked now!!

One night we were burning some sage brush and it was pretty smokey.  All of a sudden there appear some firemen!  Someone on the other mountain called in a fire, which was so crazy.   We were burning in a fire pit and it was not in violation with anything.  I felt bad that the firemen had to drive all the way up to check it out.

We had a fun time at the lake nearby, Tayla was fearless and didn't care about the freezing water!

Here's the beautiful cabin, we had so much fun!!

Until next year :)  Beth
