(I really miss my long hair!!)
I can't believe I have been blogging for 3 1/2 years now!!
I have enjoyed it so much, and I have enjoyed reading others blogs. I have been working on blog books through blurb.com and am excited to "publish" them for my family to read. (Especially Kirk who hates computers and doesn't read my blog) It has become a nice way for me to let everyone how we are doing. As I look on the past years I see a lot of joy in my posts. I hope I have represented my life in a truthful way. I know some blogs make you feel bad about yourself, they make you feel like you aren't good enough. I know with my positive outlook on life I may come across as if everything is all roses here at my home. It isn't. We have our bad days and our very bad days, but I don't like blogging about them all the time. I like to record the good days and moments so I can look back on them and feel inspired. I am burdened with a perfectionist personality. It takes a lot of effort for me to be a mother of 5 children. I have to deal with the daily messes and craziness, the lack of order.
WHY can't they just leave the pillows ON the couch? I think they are pretty, they think they are weapons. Things like this drive me crazy! That is not what I want to tell you each day.
Each day I want to focus on the good, the smiles, the happiness I feel. I hope this doesn't come across as bragging. I hope you all understand that when I write on my blog it helps me. And I hope somehow it helps you too. Or at least makes you laugh! Please leave a comment for me that tells me why you are STILL reading my blog. And if there are things you would like me to write more about. Do you need more pictures? More posts about the reality of my crazy life? Let me know! I love you all for reading this blog, and I look forward to my new year of experiences to share! Love Beth

I read your blog because you will always be my friend and i miss you!
I love reading your blog. I love knowing that your house is as crazy as my house and we are all going through this together. Thanks for your uplifting thoughts and help through all your posts.
Oh, it is also nice to know that everyone else has junk drawers just like me that need to be cleaned out.
Love ya Beth!
Don't worry about telling it how it is. I understand about the positive reinforcement. Any mom knows reality and also knows it's nice to have positive things in our life. Keep up the blogging...it's the only way I can see you and your family from far away.
I'm still reading because I love you. I love your sunny disposition.
I love reading your blog because it's fun to watch your little family growing up all together. You are a brilliant and bright mother, friend, and woman!
