The cabin
We made it! We made it through a wonderful trip to Montana with a little grumpy Tayla. Not sure what is wrong (we are taking her in again today), but we managed to squeeze all the fun in we could! The best thing about the cabin is you can do it all! We went to the lake, went shopping a few times in Ennis (a town about 50 miles away), we made fires, ate s'mores and cooked dutch oven, we went for hikes and watched Kirk cut down trees with the chainsaw! We played in the little pool, played baseball, launched rockets, watched movies and took showers!! We read books, we did a treasure hunt, we watched the boys on a snipe hunt, we took naps, we saw wildlife and wildflowers and grazing cattle. It is the ultimate retreat with a little bit of everything! My brothers family couldn't make it this year, but we hope they can next year! We had a full house of boys (9 of them! Ages 6 months-10) And Tayla was the only girl. I managed to pick a few pictures out of the 300 I took. Enjoy! Beth
